A home that thinks for itself - where Germans see the potential of smart homes and what the technology should look like

Nearly half of Germans are convinced that smart homes will become widespread in the future. More than one in three believe that smart alarm systems can lead to a reduction in the burglary rate. This is the result of a representative study commissioned by MEDION, which also examined how Germans would like to see the technology used in detail. For the study, YouGov surveyed more than 2,000 people aged 18 and over.
